This is going to be Rishi’s fifth year on the ERHS speech team and he’s so excited for this season to begin! He’s really looking forward to teaching new novices and helping students succeed!

The name’s Jacob, he’s a senior whose primary category is OO and then dabbles in disco and impromptu. Outside of speech he loves watching anime, debate and reading books at local boba shops!

Abdii is entering his third year on the East Ridge Speech Team as a Senior Captain. As an avid news reader and watcher, he’s excited to continue doing Extemporaneous Speaking. He’s also excited to help coach the next generation of speakers during practice speeches and exercises and discuss current events with his fellow Extempers!

This Anmol's third year on the team. This year, she's participating in extemporaneous reading and prose. Outside of speech, she enjoys sewing and hanging out with friends. She's super excited to be a captain this year and especially to help the novices navigate their first year on the team.

Saahithi’s been a part of SpeechRidge for the past three years, and can’t wait to see what creative things this year’s novices will do! She loves informative speaking and can’t wait to help the novices on anything visuals and presentation related.

Sophia is addicted to caffeine and if you ever felt really really nice her Starbucks order is a Grande Iced Vanilla Latte, and if you are feeling REALLY nice she likes whipped cream. Not that she is implying anything, it's just a lot of work being a category leader and all :))) This is Sophia's 3rd year in speech.

Ahil has been in speech and debate for two years and is the discussion category leader as well as a debate captain. He is a senior and is doing PSEO at the University of Minnesota. He is looking forward to making sure this speech season is a fun one.

Eamonn is a senior at ERHS and happy to be participating in his third speech season as the Extemp Reading category leader. His passions include tennis, movie-watching, and speech (of course). He hopes to make his last year of East Ridge speech a great one.

Nayomi is a senior at ERHS and she has done speech for the last four years. When she’s not obsessed with international extemporaneous speaking, she enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and writing. She’s looking forward to getting closer to everyone this season!  

This year is Jane’s junior year of high school. Last year she joined the speech team in humor. Along with speech she enjoys theater, reading, playing games and watching movies. She is so excited to be a category leader this year!

This is Alyssa Wang's 3rd year on the team. In her free time she enjoys swimming, snowboarding, reading, and sketching. Her favorite part of INFO is making the visual aids.

Hello! Shahad is a junior now in her second year of speech! She does Original Oratory and will also be doing Dramatic Interpretation this year. Some of her hobbies/activities outside of speech include Debate, reading, baking, and embroidery!
